Illuminating and modernizing this casting director’s home was the ultimate aim, to raise the collectively somber master bedroom, dining room, living room, and kitchen to a place of inspiring radiance and brilliance. Cerulean and cerise now reign supreme in her spacious master bedroom, which she describes as an “oasis,” leading out to a sunny backyard patio and pool. A full remodel of her outdated living and dining rooms, as well as her kitchen, expanded the impassioned cook’s workspace while also providing a gorgeous central spot for her friends to snack and socialize. Opening up the very heart of the house, we introduced colorful vintage rugs, lighting, and accessories, custom locally made furniture, and modern Southern California-vibe photography by artist George Byrne.(photography byMichele Thomas)
